Confessions of Parabolas

Marvin said, "Tonight I thought it would be cool to go out and see some music. The Colliders are playing at Spract Auditorium." Sounded like a good plan. I was interested in checking out a band. I'll confess - I had visions of that cantina band from Star Wars in my mind.

We had pretty good seats. Center stage, about 16 rows back. The Colliders came out onto the stage, took a bow, and then filed down some steps into an orchestra pit, completely out of view. After a minute or two these strange shapes started to rise from the pit and writhe around each other in mid-air.

I leaned over to Marvin and said, "What the hell is that?"
"That," he replied, "is the music."

This song is called "Confessions of Parabolas."

After the third song, I was so involved that I stood up, held my ignited lighter high overhead and yelled "Freebird!"

The next thing I knew, I was forcibly ejected and unceremoniously pitched onto the sidewalk out front. Note to self: sensible people here don't like Skynard either.
