What the Hell Was That? The Whole Damned Thing.

QED:
Okay, I think I have enough information to try to encapsulate this. To make sure I’ve got it.
ndifference:
Ready, set, go!
QED:
SI and mirrorkills fucked with the DD, got busted, argued with Lit about it, posted insulting journals and deviations and threatened to ban people.
ndifference:
SI did most of that. But…uh…right.
QED:
You appealed to her supervisor and he did nothing.
ndifference:
Yes.
QED:
You appealed to Angelo but got no response.
ndifference:
Yes.
QED:
You appealed to Jark but he got fired before he could do anything.
ndifference:
Yes.
QED:
You appealed to Lolly and he offered to convene a meeting but didn’t convene one.
ndifference:
Yes.
QED:
You were told to shut up or else.
ndifference:
Yes.
QED:
Around this time they started blaming you for everything.
ndifference:
Correct.
QED:
Things continued to happen so you released the plantmatter journal to the public.
ndifference:
Yes.
QED:
That brought about the long-awaited meeting where both sides made concessions, but they didn’t live up to theirs even though you lived up to yours.
ndifference:
Yes.
QED:
And more “shut up or else.”
ndifference:
Yes.
QED:
But you believed they were good for their word so you left Staff finally.
ndifference:
Yes.
QED:
But since they didn’t live up their word, and SI and mirrorkills didn’t shut up, you got yourself banned, figuring it would start a riot.
ndifference:
Yes.
QED:
The riot led to your unbanning and their removal from Staff.
ndifference:
Yes.
QED:
The PVA was pared down, renamed and re-vamped, and all was right with the world?
ndifference:
Not by a long shot.
QED:
It kept going? How?
ndifference:
Oh, come on. Considering how she reacted when she got busted for rigging the DD, how do you think she reacted to getting shit-canned?
QED:
I remember that pathetic "I'm dying" journal. Drama-whoring at it's worst.
ndifference:
And look at her journal entries after that. One per week. Entitled, “Week One.” “Week Two.” Etc. She was demarcating the weeks since her dismissal.
QED:
How high did it get?
ndifference:
Seventeen. She clung to that for over four months. And while that was going on she was stalking the people she considered the “ringleaders” of Lit, following their activity logs looking for something she could report to the helpdesk. She filed dozens of reports for anything she could possibly construe as a policy violation. Utterly absurd shit, like reporting Brooke for saying “Get out.”
QED:
All Brooke said was “Get out?”
ndifference:
That was the entirety of her comment. She reported someone for saying, “WTF.” She reported someone for saying “brown-nosing smarty pants.” She reported me, Toni, Brooke, Alex, et al. Any Staff member who can see Admin logs on user pages can see for themselves. Between December 17 and January 19 she filed 42 helpdesk reports. 36 of them were about members of the Lit Community. How many were actually considered “actionable” by C&E? Three. What is that? 8%?
QED:
That’s pathetic. She was, in effect, still trying to do her PVA job. Or at least the biased, corrupt, vendetta-driven activity she mistook as her job.
ndifference:
Yep.
QED:
Hold on. You weren't on Staff in January. How do you know about the helpdesk reports?
ndifference:
Plantmatter.
QED:
Ah, okay. And so what happened?
ndifference:
Lolly told her to stop it. That she was wasting the helpdesk admins’ time with all these bogus reports and that, since she was no longer a PVA, she should stop acting like one. So they got into it. And he got to find out first-hand what the receiving-end of an SI grudge was like. And he kept telling her to drop it and, of course, she wouldn’t. Just like she wouldn’t drop her beef with Lit. (laughing) Yeah, how do you like them apples, Lolly? Lot of fun, ain’t it? But she wouldn’t drop it and he got tired of it so he eventually banned her.
QED:
We're back to someone getting banned because Lolly was "tired" of them.
ndifference:
Well, technically it was very much a matter of low-level harassment and ignoring repeated warnings. He told her straight-up to stop reporting writers. She just couldn't help herself. Too much spite in her. She exhausted several "last chances" so he banned her. I think there is a rather large difference between him being "tired" of her and him being "tired" of me.
QED:
Agreed. So that was the end?
ndifference:
I forgot to mention she publicly accused me of harassing her on the phone. (laughing) No, wait. She accused me of passing out her phone number and she accused Toni of harassing her on the phone.
QED:
Ah yes, I remember that. You posted a good journal about that. But aside from that, that was the end?
ndifference:
No, I had to go too. It just took him another year to find some flimsy justification for that.
QED:
That’s quite a tale, Grandpa Steve.
ndifference:
Sad, but true. You look sleepy, you drunk asshole. I’m going home.
QED:
Yeah, yeah. Don’t fall in the pool.
